Whilst we are open for business as usual, we also understand that you may feel concerned about visiting the clinic at the moment so we are also offering Telehealth appointments. Here is what you need to know about Telehealth;

Did you know you can book your appointments via Phone/Telehealth?

It is difficult for patients seeking medical services to maintain social distancing rules whilst attending the Practice. Telehealth is an effective way to allow you to see your GP remotely by phone or video meetings.

A Telehealth appointment is just like a standard GP appointment, but conducted over the phone. Your GP will go through the normal procedures of asking about your symptoms (if you have any) and assessing potential diagnoses. If a script is required, it’ll be faxed, emailed or posted to you or your preferred pharmacy. Our Doctors can currently provide over the phone support for

  • pregnancy,
  • mental health, and
  • patients with chronic disease management,
  • plus a wide range of other health services.

Telehealth appointments are available during COVID19 for you to maintain your health without coming in. It also saves you the time and effort of visiting the clinic and waiting in line and being able to access services located at a distance from where you live.

How to book Telehealth Appointments:

You can book a Ph/telehealth appointment by calling our Practice 3324 1677 or on our website using the “Book Now” button or via the Appointuit Online Booking App – the same way you would book any normal appointment.

Select “Ph/Tele Appointment” as the appointment Type.
